Roasted coffee, coffee club, flavored coffee pods and more!
Looking for a little fun in your fresh roasted coffee? Just a little spirit to add to that gourmet cup after a long day? Or perhaps just as a nice finish for guests after a great dinner party? Well it’s easy to find your favorite roasted coffee. But what are some of the best liquors for the best coffee drinks?
Kahlua
A popular Mexican coffee-flavored liqueur, Kahlua is the most well-known coffee-spirit, since its flavor is so much like that of roasted coffee. But don’t be fooled. Kahlua does add a bit of sweetness, and also gives a great coffee feel when added to other, similar drinks, like hot chocolate. YES, is it made from coffee, but it also contains corn syrup, sugar, and vanilla bean.
Amaretto
Also called “Disaronno,” Amaretto is an Italian-made almond-flavored liqueur, derived from a base of apricot and almond pits. But be careful! If the coffee is too strong, you may lose that delicious nutty flavor the amaretto is providing.
Butterscotch Schnapps
A little more of an unorthodox choice, the use of Buterscotch Schnapps in coffee should be done with caution, as it doesn’t always match peoples taste. Schnapps are a distilled beverage, however American versions are technically liqueurs.
